Congrats about the baby, Floria! I'm not a parent myself (yet), so I might not be the best person to answer this question, but I do have a few ideas.

Things to buy second-hand (or better yet, to get for free from your older cousin who had a baby a while ago...):
- Baby clothes (if they are clean and not torn): those never really get out of style. My younger brother grew up reusing a lot of my clothes.
- Most baby toys (same remark, if clean and not broken)
- Stroller (make sure the fasteners still close tight)
- Crib

Things to buy new:
- Car seat: this one you really want it new for safety reasons, unless you absolutely trust your older cousin with your baby's life (literally)
- Baby bottles and other "personal" items like changing station or pacifiers (for obvious reasons)

You can also try and organize a baby shower since it is your first-born. Your family and girlfriends might have cool ideas, and might purchase (or give you) some of the items you'll need.
